What
are churches built for?
Surely, for Sunday
worship. But also as a tourist
or as a visitor of the organconcertos in the summer season you are very
welcome.
Take a walk through
the historic streets around the church. You'll have a beautiful view of
this imposing building.
Did you know the tower should have been twice its height and the church
should have been much longer, almost touching the townwell on the
Wellerondom square?
Who knows the carillon
plays, or the Butendiic bell sounds, the
large bell from 1482, it weighs not less then 4750 kg.
